I haven't disappeared, there just hasn't been a whole lot going on lately. My husband and his older brother had a guy-road trip back to Tennessee where their family is from. They had a wonderful time re-telling all the stories and remembering all of the adventures they had when they were young. They also met distant cousins and visited a house built about 200 years ago by one of their ancestors. It has been kept up and is still lived in by some of the family
I had some girl-time with my daughter and fun with the local grands.
Got these pictures of our other two grands from our Daughter-in-law. Evidently they have been adopted by a friendly little kitten that the two year old has named "Grandpa"! This especially funny since he doesn't call either my husband or her father "Grandpa". (They are Pop and Pappy). Maybe he decided the family needed a Grandpa too! The baby seemed to think so!

Adorable!!!! There's no rhyme or reason to what kids say - and that just makes it so special!!!
ReplyDeleteWe all need a little down time, sometimes. Your grandbabies are cute!
ReplyDeleteThey are growing up so quickly, but are still adorable. My grandaughter has three Grandad's and two greatgrandads but three of them are called Pete, so she just calls them all Pete to keep it simple! Hopefully she will call them grandad soon :) xxx
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful trip, "back in time" as it were, they had.
ReplyDeleteAwwww, such cuties.... little ones and kitty...
Gentle hugs,
Tessa
