A Blustery Day

Windy and warm-we're having a beautiful "Indian Summer", but we'll be losing many of our leaves today. A lot of trees are getting very bare, some still beautiful and some just getting started turning. It's kind of a bittersweet time of year.

No Matter How It All Turns Out

 

Election Day

I've prayed, I've voted and I've prayed some more. I know how I want the election to turn out, but I also know that God is in control. He knows who will win and He is already working in what will come later. He has us in the palm of His hand and I pray to have peace that passes understanding, no matter what. Because it's not who sits in the White House that matters, it's who sits on the throne in Heaven.

November...Finally or Already?

I'm not sure how I feel about it. This has been such a strange year-long and short at the same time. I love the autumn months though, so I'm glad to see November. Thanksgiving will be at our daughter's new home instead of our house, so I will get to enjoy it even more!
