Finally!

It's been a long winter for me-no snow, but we have had a lot of cold, dark, grey days and I've struggled with seasonal depression more this winter than usual. We are still due for some cold days and hard freezes this coming week, but I can feel things changing and my outlook is getting better. Taking it a day at a time, but so glad to see March!

My Baby Girl

Sigh...where does the time go? My sweet girl is 39 today. We took her and her family out for dinner and then back home for birthday cake. Her youngest (6 yrs. old) wasn't sure about the carrot cake until he had some. He was afraid it would just taste like carrots! (He is a very literal child. He heard someone say something about a broken heart and he was afraid they'd die because he thought their actual heart was broken!)

Nothing Much...

...going on. Keeping two grands tonight-tomorrow is a day off for the school kids. We do have two little 4 month old calves now.

My husband brought them home Saturday. The grandkids think they are great and they are cuties! 

Tomorrow my baby girl turns 39. She's been down with the flu all week but plans to go back to work tomorrow. So far no one else has had it thanks to Tamiflu or flu shots. I've had a mild cold and allergies but that's it (fingers crossed!) Have a great week everyone!
