My Baby Girl

No, not this one:

(although she is the world's cutest almost one month old baby-just saying). No, I'm talking about the one who will be 40 years old in 2 1/2 weeks.

It seems like yesterday and a lifetime ago all at the same time. We had a wonderful day today just walking around downtown Fort Worth, touring the beautiful courthouse:

and having lunch at a new to us place.

Bird Cafe

Just strolling and talking about any and everything. It's been a beautiful sunny day-cool but not cold. It was such a joy just being together with no real agenda except to spend time together. We both agreed this needs to be a regular thing for us!

Our newest granddaughter was born this morning! Pictures to come...

She weighs 7 lbs 3 oz and is 20 inches long. A sweet little bundle and we can't wait to see her in person!
