Not a lot going on right now, getting out in the mornings while it's relatively cool-as in mid to upper 80's instead of 100's)-and enjoying watching our chickens and cows. 3 of our 6 hens are laying an egg a day, so we're enjoying that. Our 2 heifers and 1 steer and just eating grass and hanging out under the trees in the shade. Nothing gets them very excited-which is good because something that big getting excited is not a good thing! Watching our heifers made me remember this which I thought was funny:

Our daughter is almost 2 weeks out from her knee surgery and is doing so well! She just uses a cane now and can bend her knee almost 90 degrees! I'd say at this point, her biggest problem is cabin fever! She is feeling so good and can walk better than she has in a long time, so she wants to get out and go. Fortunately she knows that can't happen yet. She is enjoying a short drive to Dutch Bros which is close to her house!
Not much else going on-I'm deep into trying to sort out the bird's nest that is my DMC cross stitch floss. I decided to put everything onto bobbins and organize it by color number. I have a lot more of it than I realized, but then, I've been cross stitching for over 30 years. The biggest problem is that I have a lot of unlabeled floss. I haven't decided if I'm going to try to match it all to the numbered floss or not. Ugh. I have at least gotten rid of my bird's nest of little leftover threads-"orts" I think they call them.
