All Those Years Ago

Here we are on June 28, 1974. Two teenagers starting their life together, having absolutely no idea what they were doing.  But we've been doing it for 43 years now and life is better than we could have possibly imagined! Thanks be to God for all of His rich blessings!

Summer!

First day of Summer, although here, it's been summer temperature-wise for several weeks. We close out our VBS tonight.  Our very talented Children's Minister wrote a wonderful musical about the prophet Jonah and it has been performed in parts for the last two nights at our church after bible classes for the kids. Tonight is the finale and it should be good. Everyone has been so great to pitch in from playing parts in the musical to teaching the classes. I chose to bake cookies and work the registration table. It's been a lot of fun especially since two of our grandchildren have been going and my husband and daughter have been in the musical!
