I haven't disappeared, there just hasn't been a whole lot going on lately. My husband and his older brother had a guy-road trip back to Tennessee where their family is from. They had a wonderful time re-telling all the stories and remembering all of the adventures they had when they were young. They also met distant cousins and visited a house built about 200 years ago by one of their ancestors. It has been kept up and is still lived in by some of the family
I had some girl-time with my daughter and fun with the local grands.
Got these pictures of our other two grands from our Daughter-in-law. Evidently they have been adopted by a friendly little kitten that the two year old has named "Grandpa"! This especially funny since he doesn't call either my husband or her father "Grandpa". (They are Pop and Pappy). Maybe he decided the family needed a Grandpa too! The baby seemed to think so!

Yuck!
Found these munching on my dill this afternoon. They draw back and look like they're ready for a fight if you bother them. They are really stripping my plants.
They make beautiful swallowtail butterflies-no wonder we've seen so many flitting about. They've been depositing their offspring in my garden!
