Went out for dinner-I knew it was hot, but...

Grand!

Life keeps speeding by-July's already half gone now. We have spent the time keeping grandchildren, so I guess time really does fly when you're having fun! Our two oldest go to church camp next week, so we will have their little brother, our oldest grandson for a week. We'll be heading to New Mexico for a family reunion at the end of the month and will take him with us. We had the two youngest grandsons for the last two weeks. They will be at the reunion too and he is looking forward to that. They are all the best of friends-the three musketeers!

Happy 4th of July!

Phew!!

It's HOT! 107 F today and still no rain. Our grass is turning brown and there are grass fires in the area everyday-especially with the fireworks. Seems strange that they would pass a county-wide burn ban but not ban fireworks.

We will have all 5 grands for a sleepover on the 4th. Should be a fun time! We may go to a local fireworks display, or just stay home and do a few sparklers-haven't decided yet. The 2 girls always like to make an American Flag cake so I guess they'll do that. Or we might make cookies. The boys are really excited about their sleepover.

The two oldest boys are 5 and the other is 3-they have the best time when they are together.  These years are going by so quickly-I want to enjoy every minute!
