Quiet
We've been busy the last week with our sweet grands, so I haven't posted-not that I'm a really frequent poster anyway! We had the 3 oldest grandsons this week-12, 12, and 10 years. It's been a "who are you with your suddenly deepening voice and what have you done with my baby grandsons?" moment. They are definitely growing and changing! We took them to Urban Air-an indoor trampoline and everything else climbing and jumping place-and turned them loose for 4 hours. My husband had a Dr's appointment nearby, so I parked myself in front of the snack bar and let the boys come find me when they wanted something to drink or eat. They had a great time jumping, go-karting, zip-lining, etc. and I sat. (Because with all of the kids running full-tilt hither and thither, it was too dangerous to try to walk around anywhere. I nearly got knocked down several times.) We also took them swimming. It was a good week with our kids and the two littlest grands visiting on the weekends to drop off and pick up.

69 years ago today, I was born at 1:27 am. My mom got to the hospital at 1 am. Cutting it a little close! Today, my sweet husband took me ...
So happy for your time with your grands!
ReplyDeleteI agree with the turn them loose in a safe place philosophy! It is crazy how fast they grow and how much energy they have! Visiting grandchildren are the best!!! But you do need to rest when they go.
ReplyDeleteSounds like fun for all! And yes, now you need a rest!
ReplyDeleteTime with the grands is always good!! Sounds like they had a great time... and you too!!
ReplyDeleteThose young ones will wear you out! I bet they had fun!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad we had time with our grands when they were young! I'm really grateful WE were younger then because it would be hard to do now what we did then!
ReplyDeleteHope the appointment went well for your husband. What a week of fun having your grands hanging out with you all. Sounds like they were totally entertained and I know they loved every moment there.
ReplyDeleteThe grandchildren are so much fun, bring life and laughter and fun into the house, but oh my goodness, it's tiring sometimes! I see my kids parenting them and wonder how on earth I ever did that 24/7! I think you were brilliant to bring them to that trampoline place. :).
