Sorry I haven't written anything in a while..I've sort of lost my blogging mojo. Not that things have been particularly quiet. We've had a tremendous amount of rain and flooding in the last two weeks. Lakes that have been mostly dry for several years are now full, which is a great thing! Hopefully we're heading away from the drought for good. ('Til the next one!)
We've had a wonderful visit with our two youngest grandsons. (And their parents, but lets face it, we all know who the main attractions are in grandparent world!) They're getting ready to move and will be a couple of hours closer to us!
Tomorrow, we'll spend part of the day at our granddaughters' school. They are having to make up bad weather days from this winter, so they have to go to school on Memorial Day. They are having a special patriotic assembly and a picnic.
So life is plugging away and I'll try to be a better blogger!

They are beautiful and growing up so quickly. Nice to hear from you xxxx
ReplyDeleteWelcome back!.The children are adorable and congratulations on being at least a couple of hours closer to them!
ReplyDeleteseeing your gorgeous grands was a great pleasure. I'm sure they keep you busy. How lovely that they will be moving closer to you Jan.
ReplyDeleteIt was so strange to hear the sounds of children in school today! Their voices carried from the local elementary school to our house and it just seemed so out of place!
ReplyDeleteLove your blog background!!!
Our poor granddaughters both started running a temperature Sunday night and had sore throats, so they didn't go to school after all! We came over and had lunch with them at home. Hope you're getting dried out-this weather is crazy!
DeleteWelcome back. Lovely photos of your Grandsons. Jx
ReplyDeleteBut you've been living life and nothing is better than that! Time with the grandkids and your own kids, the best of all times. Still, it's good to see your name pop up on my blogroll!
